Antique Georgian C1790 walnut bureau desk writing table 18th Century.

This is a lovely bureau, that is full of age, charm and character. Attractive line inlay and crossbanding. The veneers have the typical 18th Century unevenness that looks great.

No loose joints and the drawers slide freely.

Good shape and proportions.

Overall maximum dimensions: 96cmW x 53cmD (89cmD with fall front down) x 108cmH (87 wide x 60cm deep x 78cm high writing surface).

Good antique condition with minor historic knocks, marks, wear, imperfections, minor veneer losses/repairs, repairs and alterations, as is to be expected with period functional antique furniture. Later handles. There are historic extinct woodworm holes that have been treated for good measure, as should be expected for period walnut. No key and the locks are untested. The baize is old and marked...we would be happy to replace this FOC before despatch if required.
