Antique Regency giltwood convex mirror with eagle.

Very rare sought after shape and design.

Fantastic age and patina.

This mirror looks its age (early/mid 19C). It looks really genuine and would suite someone who likes their antiques to look old and not over-restored.

1030mmH x 660mmW x 140mmD.

There have been quite a few knocks over the years, and some bits of gesso have been chipped off and lost. The gilt paint has been touched up here. There is some oxidation on the mirror, but not too much and this really adds to the charm. There may have been additional decoration which is no longer there, however it is still a lovely mirror and a lot less expensive than the £2500 typical price of a really good condition example.
