Antique Georgian mid-18th Century (C1750) figured walnut chest of drawers on later (C1900) stand
This is a lovely chest, that is full of age, charm and character.
No loose joints and the oak lined drawers slide freely (some marks inside as is to be expected). Separates into two haves for transport.
Good shape and fantastic proportions. Charming historic waviness and distortion.
Full of age charm and character, almost a work of art.
Overall maximum dimensions: 108cmW x 54cmD x 165cmH (76cmH bottom section and 91cmH top).
In good antique condition with historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is to be expected with genuine antique furniture. There are no keys and the locks are consequently untested. Later handles. There are historic extinct woodworm holes (expected for 18C walnut/oak), that we have treated for good measure.
