Antique very large quality 19th Century Victorian gilt overmantle wall mirror ~6'6" tall.
This is a lovely mirror, that is full of age, charm and character. Great patinated narrow worn gilt frame which looks great. Some of the original gilding remains. No woodworm.
An impressive and rare find, that would look amazing in the right location.
Heavy oxidation to the mirror plate with a pleasant smoky atmospheric appearance and a foggy reflected image (great for older people like us and very fashionable). No unsightly large brown blotches or stains.
Overall maximum dimensions: 199cmH x 107cmW x 60cmD.
Mirrored glass (max) size 106cmH x 79cmW.
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is to be expected with antique furniture. Later wallpaper covering to back.
