Antique large Victorian 19C gilt overmantle wall mirror, that looks magnificently old.

This is a lovely mirror, that is full of age, charm and character, with great large proportions.

Overall maximum dimensions (excluding fixings) 112cmW x 132cmH, mirrored area 96cmW x 122cmH.

Note that the mirror is very tall and you will need quite a high ceiling, if it is to sit on your mantle piece.

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. There are a lot of knocks on the frame, quite a bit of the decoration has been lost and the gilt paint has been renewed/touched up several times in its life. There is some oxidation on the mirrored glass (which seems original). The oxidation is generally light/medium in nature, but there are 3 or 4 patches 1-2" across in the bottom left hand corner (see pictures)....This really does make the mirror look authentic and old, which it is.
