Antique 19th Century Victorian gilt framed cushion wall mirror or overmantle. Possibly Flemish.

This is a lovely mirror, that is full of age, charm and character ...no woodworm.

Could be hung either way by moving fixings.

An impressive and opulent rare find, that would look amazing in the right location.

Bevel edge mirror to the centre. Oak frame, with softwood back and gold metal elements.

Overall maximum dimensions: 123cmW x 102cmH x 10cmD.

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with antique furniture. Finishes have been touched up/repainted historically, but this rare piece retains a fantastic age and charm. There is a piece of ebonised trim missing from the frame (not terribly noticeable, at the bottom in the pics). All mirrors are good with only minor imperfections.
