Antique rare Victorian mother of pearl inlaid bedroom side chair. Came from the Master's Lodge, Trinity College, Cambridge.

Dates from C1890. Fantastic quality decorative piece, with amazing inlays and gilt paint decoration.

Solid and strong with no loose joints. No woodworm.

Good new upholstery job in a heavy weight cotton fabric, with a natural, light oatmeal colour.

Overall maximum dimensions: 43cmW x 43cmD x 86cmH (43cmH seat).

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs, restoration and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. Would have had a cane seat originally.
