Antique 19th Century Victorian gilt framed wall mirror or overmantle.

This is a lovely mirror, that is full of age, charm and character ...no woodworm.

Could be hung either way by moving fixings.

An impressive and rare find, that would look amazing in the right location.

The mirrored glass appears to have been replaced with old glass, with light oxidation/foxing/defects (just how most customers would want).

Overall maximum dimensions 83cmW x 95cmH x 7cmD.

Glass size 61.5cmW x 73cmH.

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with antique furniture. Aged gilt paint finish on wood and gesso, which has been touched up/repainted. There is historic cracking on the gesso as you would expect to see. Some minor gesso decoration losses and there is no back on the mirror.
