Antique large quality Victorian gilt wall mirror overmantle.

This is a lovely good quality 19th Century mirror.

This is a lovely mirror, that is full of age, charm and character, with large proportions.

Wood, gesso and wire construction (typical) with an impressive pediment and decoration. No woodworm.

An impressive and rare find, that would look amazing in the right location.

The thick mirrored glass (probably original) is in good condition with only light foxing/oxidation/defects.

Overall maximum dimensions 113cmW x 143cmH (excluding fixings)

Glass area 94cmW x 120cmH.

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with antique furniture. There is some cracking to the gesso (as is the norm) with some minor losses. Evidence of frame repainting and touching up. Possibly had ceramic mantle supports originally.

Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide a strong able bodied person for our driver to assist with carrying..
