19th Century Treen Bottle Holder with Bottle V225

Description
Finely turned Victorian Treen medicine/Chemist bottle holder. Made of boxwood, with an excellent screw thread, the top is finished with a small nipple. Snugly fitted inside is a glass stoppered bottle, probably the original bottle. One fine crack can be seen on the main body, but it has not opened or extended through to the inside. Circa 1850Height: 16cm (6 1/4")
