Combining strength, safety and design, this small nursery fireguard is a treasure. Dating from the 1st half of the 19th century, it is constructed of iron with a brass top rail. The frame of iron rods is infilled with vertical iron wire, embellished at the top with wire work decoration. Circa 1830.Width: 84cm (33")
