Description
A late 18th century mahogany oval Tray. Of fine quality, it is veneered on solid mahogany with flame mahogany, inlaid with a large central shell motif, and finished with fine line inlay and contrasting crossbanding. The wavy-edge gallery is a triumph of Georgian craftmanship. Superb condition makes this tray rather special. Circa 1780Width 45.5cm (18")
