Early 19th Century Mahogany Corner Wash Stand

Description
A good quality Georgian Wash Stand. Made from mahogany, and designed to fit into a corner, it has a high curved back with a small shelf for a candle, holes for a bowl and other items for a gentleman or lady's ablutions, a shelf and drawer below, with a low shaped self for holding the water jug. Splayed feet, a wavy shaped frieze, and brass knobs are typical of this period of fine elegant furniture. Circa 1820.Height 113cm (44 1/2 inches)
