Description

Mid 19th century wall shelves. Light and delicate in design, they are comprised of 4 serpentine shaped shelves, the top shelf a little narrower in depth than the other 3. They are held by beautifully turned upright spindles, each tier graduated by means of additional ring turnings. Brass acorn finials adorn the top, with brass rings at the back for hanging the shelves on the wall. Small brass feet also allow for them to be used as standing shelves. A most attractive set of shelves in fine mahogany and excellent condition. Circa 1850.
