Description
A classically inspired table lamp dating from the 1950's. The square base is marble, black with brown and white striations. The reeded column is painted black, and stands on a circular brass plinth. Twin armed brass lamp holders rise into a tôle-ware shade. This is tin ebonised black with a gold trim and painted decoration on the front and sides. The lamp is topped with a brass eagle finial.Height 56cm (22 inches) Shade 33cm (13 inches) x 13.5cm (5 1/4inches)
