A Pair of Cut Glass and Silver Plate Portuguese Claret Jugs (TOPAZIO CASQUINHA)
Having Cut Glass Cylindrical Bodies and Slightly Swollen Bases.
The Claret Jugs are Elaborately Embossed with Cherubs, Masks and Foliage Detail.
The Hinged Lids With a Lion and Shield Thumb.
TOPAZIO CASQUINHA is a Portuguese company founded in 1874 by José Manuel Ferreira Marques. His two sons created the Topázio brand in 1934, in honor of their mother’s favorite stone - topaz.
