Silver Thimble Whiskey Tot Glass, Chester 1904

We have for sale a truly stunning example of a very hard to find Edwardian Hillard and Thomason novelty solid silver thimble shaped whisky tot glass.This lovely silver tot glass is in the form of thimble decorated with a plain top, a broad band with the lettering "JUST A THIMBLE FULL" over a turnover top. The band also carries full English hallmarks for Chester 1904 along with the makers marks for Hillard and Thomason.
This lovely whisky tot glass is just over 2 inches (5.1cm) high, and 1.5 inches (3.8cm) in diameter to the upper rim and weighs approximately 37.4g according to our digital scales. This whisky tot glass is in an excellent condition.
