We have for sale a truly lovely Edwardian arts and crafts/art nouveau milk jug by the excellent silversmith Charles Edwards.

This heavy silver cream jug combines in its striking design elements of the arts and crafts and art nouveau movements. The jug has a planished bowl on three legs extending organically towards a angular handle in the form of a branching twig with each branch terminating with a laterally positioned leaf on the upper side of the body. The jug carries full English hallmarks for London 1930 along with the typically small makers marks for Charles Edwards.

The jug is 2.75 inches (7cm) high, inches (8cm) in Diameter, 4.75 inches (12)from spout to handle and weighs 152.9g. The jug is in a very good condition although the makers marks are is rubbed to the top left hand corner but is easily legible.
