We have for sale a first edition of the Letters of Queen Victoria 1837-1861 in three volumes

The books represent a collection of letters from Her Majesty Queen Victoria between the years 1837 and 1861 in three volumes. Volume I, consists of 512 page and covers the period of 1837-1843. Volume II consists of 472 pages and covers the period of 1844-1853. Volume III consists of 520 pages and covers the period of 1854-1861. The collection was copywrighted by His Majesty The King in 1907 and then published by John Murray in 1908 bound in red cloth and gilt covers by F. Gruneisen & Co. of London.

The volumes are 7.5 inches (19.1cm) high and 5.25 inches (13.3cm) wide. Volumes I and II are in a good condition but there is fading and loss of gilt to the spine, volume III is in a very good condition, minimum fading but there is some aging.
