We have for sale a very attractive 1950s American Black and Gold Lucite handbag.

This very striking 1950s Majestic Lucite bag. The bag is of a hexagonal lozenge shape with a brass frame, a clear Lucite body with a gold coloured base. The body is decorated with a gold and black mesh design, and extends to a black Lucite lid with brass fittings including a sparkly catch and a black Lucite half hoop handle.

The bag is 10 inches (25.4cm) high to the top of the handle, 8 inches (20.3cm) wide, 3.5 inches (8.9) deep and is in a good to very good condition with no cracks or fogging but with a little aging to the frame.
