Perfect for the collector of interesting boxes, we have for sale a rather fun Sorrento puzzle box dating to around 1880-1900.

This attractive Italian oblong dark olive wood box is in the form of a squat bookcase but hides a secret or two, a hidden keyhole hidden behind the middle book like panel to the front and a secret drawer to the base. The top of the box is decorated with an inlaid design depicting three people dancing.

The box is 13.4 inches ()23cm long, 4.3 inches (11cm) high, 4.7 inches (12cm) deep and is in a good condition although there is the surface wear one would expect from a box of this perion along with a little bit of damage to the back left corner of the lid. The box is not being sold with a key.
