We have for sale a rather lovely decorative oak arts and crafts plate rack very much in the manor of the Cotswold School. The piece looks as if probably dates to around the 1970s.

This four shelf plate rack is formed from beautifully figured quartered oak and is constructed with through tenon joints with each shelf attractively chip carved in the manner of Stanley Webb Davies. The centre of the lower shelf back is also marked with a carved cross in the Crosslet Fitchy style and the initials PH.

The plate rack is 42 inches long, 36 inches high and approximately 3.5 inches deep. The shelves starting from the bottom and working up are 7.25 inches, 8.25 inches, 8.785 inches apart and the plate rack is in an excellent condition.
