We have for sale a striking art nouveau copper and pewter inkstand.

This double well inkstand is of a simple but attractive art nouveau design incorporating two inkwells with a pen stand. The inkstand is complete with its two original ink bottles with inverted conical lids. The piece probably dates from the early 20th century and is possibly German in origin.

The inkstand is (18.5cm)long, (12cm) wide and about (5.5cm) high. The inkstand is in a good antique condition although there is wear to the copper and rub through to the underlying base metal. This actually adds considerably to the charm of the piece.
