Description
We have for sale a lovely and very hard to find Regency period Swansea tea plate.This lovely duck-egg Swansea porcelain tea plate is very finely decorated with gilt flowers and berries and is marked to the base with the red stencil Swansea mark along with the pattern 449. This pattern is illustrated in Swansea Porcelain, by WD John, see plate 81c.
The saucer is approximately 8 & 1/4 inches(21cm) in diameter and is in an excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
