Stratford-on-Avon Silver Thimble HG&S C1920s

Description
We have for sale a very nice silver thimble Stratford-on-Avon place name thimble by Thimble Henry Griffith & Sons.The thimble has a diagonal geometric star design top above a band marked "STRATFORD-0N-AVON" and a plane rim marked Sterling Silver, The Spa, Made in England. The plain rim also carries the makers marks for Henry Griffith & Sons (HG&S). Henry Griffith & Sons were the only English thimble manufacturers to marks some of their thimbles Sterling Silver. The thimble probably dates from the mid to late 1920s.
This size 18 thimble is in very good condition, but some rubbing of the makers mark, particularly the H
