Description

We have the pleasure of being able to offer this lovely little silver card case by Sampson Mordan.

This small silver card case has a planished (hammered) finish, a spring loaded lid with vacant cartouche and a gilded interior. However, the top left of the front cover carries an inscription St Giles 25 June 1913. The front of the lid also carries the English silver mark along with the London date letter for 1912, whilst the back of the case carries full London hallmarks for 1912 along with the makers mark for Sampson Mordan & Co 1912.

The card case is 3 & 1/8 inches (8cm) long and weighs 41g. It is in a very good antique condition although there is a slight unevenness to the back.
