For sale we have a lovely late Victorian or early Edwardian writing cabinet.

The cabinet is in a honey oak and the two front doors open to reveal an interior consisting of a number of letter compartments and the original and fully working adjustable calender. The inside of the right hand door is complete with its original note taking slate. The cabinet also contains a secret drawer opened by depressing the button centrally located above the calender. Removal of the calender also reveals a second hidden storage compartment for those all important private documents.

This is quite a large cabinet, it is 13 inches (33cm) high and 12 & 1/2 inches (31.7cm) wide and is in an excellent antique condition other than some marks to the front of the doors, a replaced base to the left hand ink compartment and a couple of hairlines in the writing slate.
