For sale we have a hard to find Macintyre tobacco jar.

A Macintyre Moorcroft pottery tobacco jar and cover of squat cylindrical shape, decorated with tube-lined flowers in shades of blue on a blue background. The jar carries the brown Macintyre Burslem mark for 1904-1913.

The tobacco jar is approximately 3 & 1/2 inches high (9cm) and is in a very good condition with no cracks chips or repairs. However, the lid does have a stain and there is some of the typical crazing of the glaze one would expect from a piece of Macintyre pottery of this period. The piece was obviously kept in a window in the sun because the crazing of the glaze is more prominent on one side than the other.
