Delightful Mahogany and marquetry French Ladies writing Desk in original condition.
Exceptionally pretty Desk, featuring various areas of Marquetry, a brass gallery and ormolu fittings to the legs And feet. The main drawer to the front is the full width and when opened it draws up the front curved cover to reveal three hidden small drawers and this also allows you to unfold the top shelf to reveal the Red Leather writing surface.
There are some small marks and a tiny piece of laminate missing but no more than would be expected from a piece of furniture this age.
