A very large and heavy quality embossed brass wine cooler/planter. Probably Dutch and made as a wine cooler circa 1850. There is an embossed drinking scene on one side and the other side has a embossed coat of arms. Very large embossed lions heads to each end with ring turned handles. Retaining its original liner and measuring 26" wide x 14 3/4" deep x 11 7/8" high. The opening is 20 1/2" wide x 13 3/4" deep. All in very good condition (1 pin hole to liner) and original patina. Could be used as a wine cooler or planter or even a log bucket. I personally think a wine cooler hence the drinking scene.
