An exceptional quality Asprey of London Boulle (brass marquetry inlaid into tortoiseshell) desk tidy. Probably used to accommodate a sponge for moistening stamps. Circa 1890. Superb quality and condition as to be expected from Asprey. 2 7/16" diameter base x 1 3/4" high x 1 3/4" opening top. Stamped Asprey & Co.
