18thc.European painted pine coffer with rising lid. This coffer doubles as a long low and narrow window seat.The painting is all original with no restoration. It has carved bun feet on the front and bracket feet back. The canted corners are decorated with figures in national costume,the lid with scrolls and lines.DateGeorge III :
