A beautifully ornate early Victorian silver baby's rattle, hallmarked for Birmingham 1860 (the makers mark is worn). Attached to this dainty rattle is a silver loop so that it can be hung from a ribbon. The rattle has 4 flower shaped bells, a whistle and round mother of pearl teether. The embossed decoration on the body is very pretty with flowers and scrolls.A gorgeous item to have in a collection or to celebrate a birth. In very good condition.
