A superb Victorian silver card case with shaped edging and beautiful engraved leafage scrolls on both sides. A central shaped cartouche engraved R.A.J. Walling. Of rectangular form, the hinged lid opens to reveal the full English hallmark for Birmingham 1901. The makers mark is present for the silversmith, Smith Brothers, Birmingham.This silver card case would make an ideal gift and a useful addition to a card case collection. In good condition.
