Description

A lovely set of antique Italian micro mosaic brooches, stamped Made in Italy. Micro mosaics are created with tiny pieces of glass called tesserae (tiles) to make intricate designs or scenes. Micro mosaic brooches have been crafted and worn in Italy since the 17th century.

This beautiful collection consists of four colourful brooches - 2 boat shaped, 1 square and 1 oval. All of them are set in gold tone base metal, with original clasps on each.

In good vintage condition with some minor wear/tarnish commensurate with age.

Please note, these brooches can be purchased either as a set of 4 or individually.
