A charming mid Victorian desk blotter with attractive mother-of-pearl and abalone shell inlay. Decorated with an array of hand painted colourful flowers and gilt borders. This folder is of papier mâché construction has an inner paper compartment inside complete with the original blotting papers.There is an incredible amount of detailed work in this truly beautiful Victorian blotter. This could be used as a blotter or stationery wallet and would make a wonderful, very useful gift. In very good condition.
