Description

English chest of drawers from the first half of the 20th century. This Art Deco-era furniture is carved, veneered, and inlaid with flamed walnut, mahogany, and ebonized wood. Inside the door is a metal plaque with information about the maker and creator, Waring & Gillow Ltd., a renowned English luxury furniture company. The chest of drawers features 10 external drawers adorned with non-original colored knobs, which were replaced during the restoration.

The furniture also features a large central door with several shelves, offering good storage capacity and practicality. This beautifully proportioned chest of drawers can easily be placed anywhere in the home, making it ideal for antique dealers and interior decorators. The cabinet, with a pedestal base, offers excellent stability and solidity, and is in good condition with some minor signs of wear.
