P.A.Oxley Antique Clocks and Barometers

Description

An unusual and rare mahogany barometer with a 6 inch main dial mounted at the very top of the cabinet work. Also featuring a full length thermometer, bubble level and a swan neck top.

A highly desirable and rare scientific instrument.

Note: Frederick Belloni was actually born in Switzerland C.1800 & at some point he made the 700 mile journey to the County of Dorset in England. In the 1841 census he is listed as a Jeweller & Watchmaker and was working at 13 High Street, Shaftesbury.
