Description

A delightful Biedermeier period sofa. Superbly constructed, the satin birch frame is inlaid with pretty ebony line stringing and the whole supported by four ebonized block feet. The useful incorporated original hinged arm compartments are a special and interesting feature along with the very desirable colour.
A very decorative piece of early 19th century furniture that would sit well in either a contemporary or traditional home.
