Description
A 19th century folding book stand/ music stand. Really cleverly made where it folds down completely for travelling.An ingenious adjustable and collapsible mahogany stand for books, nespapers, pictures, music etc.
Closed it forms a block, open it can extend up to approx 45cm high with the two upper extension arms or with these two arms down it is 24cm high. The width is approx 46cm.
Similar one is illustrated in Pinto Treen and other wooden bygones Page 251, plate 281.
