An Elegant English Bracket Clock.

‘Watchmakers and clockmakers of the world’ by Brain Loomes lists John Greenwood as working ‘opposite the Rump’ in High Street, Rochester (Kent) from 1793 to 1795. His son, also John worked from the same address from 1815. This clock dates from c.1815 to 1820 so would be attributed to John Greenwood (Junior). ‘Michael Pearsons’ informative book shows an example of a Longcase clock by John Greenwood. (pg.150)
