A fantastic quality piece of carved banded agate. It is carved from one piece of banded agate. I believe it is a dragon or a chinese mythical creature that is carved into the top of the piece. The carving on this piece is top quality. It even has a piece showing the crystals formed inside. I believe it is roughly around the 1940's/ 50's? But unsure as it is quite hard to tell. I bought this because I liked it because it is such great quality. It has came from a collection in a private house in scotland. Measuring roughly 3. 5" high by 2" across by 1. 5" deep. It is made from banded agate, just a fantastic piece of work.
