A fantastic quality original bronze tiger/ big cat inkwell and ashtray. Bought from a private house in scotland. It is still in original untouched condition. Measures roughly 3. 5" high by 8" long by 5. 25" deep. A great piece, it is an inkwell, which has its glass ink holder. It could also be used as a pen tray or ashtray. Made from one large piece of serpentine, it has ben left original to look like the tiger is climbing the rocks and polished to seem like it is looking below into the dark water. In great overall condition, a great present or addition to any collection. I believe the age of this piece to be around 1920/1930.
