Description

Magnificent cast iron antique mid Victorian fire surround of exceptional quality in the Rococo manner, decorated with finely cast applied extravagant swags of fruit to each leg and a center cartouche. Registered stamp dates the reclaimed fireplace design to 20th December 1854. Also included is its original Victorian cast iron arched insert of equal quality, which benefits from a large 21" wide grate.
