Two fine examples of practical and functional travel furniture from the turn of the 19th century. This pair of campaign chairs are of rich mahogany with a beautiful patina and colour. Owned for more than one hundred years by the same family since new around 1900 they were reupholstered around 1930. As fitting today as then these two will fold away neatly for storage or packing in the modern vehicle.Elegance for two on those romantic picnics.
