19th Century Galvanised Steel Planter.This huge antique steel planter was originally used in the basement of a large country home in York. the tank would have had a sealed lid on it and it held acetylene powder and then water dripped on to it to produce acetylene gas, this gas was harnessed to the supply the house above with a very early form of gas lighting.
Now cleverly transformed by Miles into a stunning centre piece, perfect for a courtyard garden or maybe as a turning circle decoration, planted with a huge shrub or tree.
A very unusual time with a decorative cast iron base.

Standard delivery is with a one man courier and it is a door to door service. If you require a two man courier, please let us know at the time of purchase.
Smaller items will be sent with a parcel courier. We wrap and book parcels in once a week on Thursdays. If you require an item quickly, please let us know and we can arrange this.
We can provide an overseas shipping service.

We offer a 14 day return service if you are not happy with the item. This is providing that items are returned within 14 days and are in the same condition that they left us in. The cost of returning the goods must be covered by you. We will refund you on the items return.
