Description

This is a very interesting and detailed small model of HMS Wyvern, a Modified W-class destroyer of the Royal Navy, which was launched and commissioned into service in 1919 and served in the second world war. (see link below)

The model is beautifully made and rigged and in excellent condition throughout. Its Pennant No D66 is painted on the side

It is mounted in its original mahogany case. The back panel is painted with a charming landscape backdrop to the diorama, and has a brass plaque engraved with HMS Wyvern 1921.
