Description

This is an exceptional and very large stoneware pottery glazed pitcher.

It would date to the late 19th or early 20th century and may have been used for storing milk in a dairy or for serving beer in a Tavern. It has a capacity of over 12 pints - so perfect for serving beer to the local football team!

There is an original unglazed pale patch to the outside.
Very good usable condition throughout.
