Description

This is a very nice example of an early 19th Century Georgian bow front toilet mirror.
It has been well cared for and is in very good condition

It has well chosen figured mahogany veneers to the case, and the case, drawer fronts and mirror frame are all edged with dark mahogany stringing. It has cross banded veneer to the mirror frame and the drawers have fine hand cut dovetails. The drawer fronts are of oak, veneered in mahogany and the drawer linings are beech.
Well shaped bracket feet, all original.
Bone turned knobs and escutcheon.


The original silvered mirror plate has sadly deteriorated and doesn't serve its purpose well now. It has been replaced but I will be happy to send the original with the dressing mirror when purchased

Viewings can be arranged by appointment here in Cornwall and we will always explain the history of our stock and restoration work that has been carried out.
