Description

This is a fine Gladstone type cricket bat bag.

Made of quality tan leather, it bears the initials RWD and according to the note that was left inside the bag, it belonged to Ronald William Dix who was an England Schoolboy International and also an England International Footballer

The inner canvas lining is worn as one might expect from heavy use but the bag itself and the straps and buckles are in excellent condition. The leather itself is supple and the hinged metal frame of the case is sound and works well. There is a central brass lock but sadly no key.

Dimensions: 36 inches long, 12 inches wide, 10 inches high
